We are looking for an experienced Business Consultant/Analyst with expertise in operations underwriting or risk management within the leasing or banking sectors (specifically for legal entities).
The ideal candidate must be proficient in business-level German and be open to transitioning into a role focused on software business analysis or functional consulting, where they will work on implementing software solutions for international clients in the leasing industry.
This role offers a great opportunity to join one of our strategic projects in Germany for a short-term assignment, followed by a permanent position based in Romania.
 
Main responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized guidance on leasing operations and processes.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications for software solutions aimed at clients in the leasing industry.
  • Work with customers to clearly understand their business requirements and determine how our solutions can address their business requirements through close discussion and co-operation with team members.
  • Understand customer's issues, analyze them from a functional and business perspective to determine the root cause and provide consultancy on the solutions.
  • Work closely with internal teams to evaluate how our solutions can be aligned with the client requirements and industry standards.
  • Offer recommendations to optimize operational processes based on risk assessments and industry best practices.
  • Manage any risks regarding the projects to ensure their smooth running and escalate as appropriate.
 
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Relevant experience (at least 3 years) in operations underwriting or risk management within a leasing company or bank, specifically for legal entities;
  • Proficient in German (both written and spoken), ideally at a professional business level—this is essential for the project in Germany.
  • Outstanding analytical skills, able to frame problems and coach others.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to develop pragmatic and creative business solutions.
  • Good communication skills, ability to position as a trustful, knowledgeable business partner to management teams.
  • Self-organizing skills, ability to perform activities from multiple work streams and achieve deadlines and goals.
  • Detail oriented and results focused.
  • Strong team worker and able to fit in diverse environments.
