We are looking for a highly experienced and proactive Senior IT Systems Administrator to lead the design, implementation, and support of IT infrastructure. This role requires deep technical expertise in server administration, networking, virtualization, and enterprise services such as Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange (on-prem and hybrid)
Required Qualifications:
- 10 + years of progressive experience in IT systems and network administration, with at least 3 years in a senior-level role.
- Deep expertise in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and Group Policy management.
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware ESXi/vCenter and Microsoft Hyper-V environments.
- In-depth understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Exchange On-Premises, M365, and hybrid messaging systems.
- Familiarity with enterprise firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto) and network security.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead infrastructure troubleshooting and incident response.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, deployment, and management of enterprise-grade Windows Server environments.
- Architect and maintain virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere/ESXi, vCenter, and Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Oversee core network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and Internet connectivity across all locations.
- Manage and secure Active Directory, Group Policy, LDAP, and related identity services.
- Administer Microsoft Exchange (on-prem and hybrid) platforms.
- Configure and manage DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking components.
- Implement and enforce IT security standards, including patch management, firewall rules, and endpoint protection.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis, and apply long-term fixes.
- Collaborate with application, DevOps, and support teams to align infrastructure with business goals and standards.
- Lead infrastructure-related projects and upgrades from planning to execution.
- Document systems, procedures, and infrastructure changes thoroughly.
Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as VMware VCP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CCNA, or CompTIA Security+
