Join our Finance team and play a critical role in financial planning, reporting and analysis while collaborating closely with Business Unit Managers. Your contributions will drive accurate decision-making and ensure compliance with company standards.
Role Overview
As a Reporting Officer, you will:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, yearly, and ad-hoc financial reports.
- Deliver budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with Business Unit Managers.
- Ensure accurate tracking of financial performance against budgets and provide actionable insights.
- Streamline reporting processes, design templates, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
1. Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for business units both for management and statutory purposes.
- Conduct comparative analyses to identify trends, variations, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and deliver standardized and ad-hoc reports using tools like Tableau and Excel.
- Calculate monthly accruals for revenue recognition in line with company standards.
- Track and analyse timesheets and time allocation by personnel across various implementation projects and products to ensure accurate reporting and productivity monitoring.
- Follow-up on revenue from contracts for software implementation projects.
- Check the projects database to ensure accurate financial tracking.
- Monitor project profitability, follow-up and perform cost reallocations, propose corrections.
- Collaborate with business unit managers to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor and analyse variances between actual results and budgets.
- Focus on automating reporting processes to drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Design and implement improved reporting templates and processes to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate across teams to identify and implement best practices in financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards (RAS & IFRS).
What you need to succeed:
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Data Science, Information Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF, COUNT functions).
- Experience with ERP systems (advantageous).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau.
- Minimum of 3 years in financial reporting, data analysis, or a similar role.
- Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Experience in project-based revenue management is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage deadlines and large data volumes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Effective communication skills, including written and spoken English.
